AN IDEAL CANDIDATE IS ONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN GROWING THEIR CAREER WHILE ASSISTING THE MANAGEMENT TEAM WITH SEVERAL ASPECTS OF RESIDENTIAL TREE CARE OPERATIONS. FOCUS OF THE ROLE WILL BE IN SEVERAL AREAS, SUCH AS SALES AND ESTIMATES, MENTORING, ONBOARDING AND TRAINING NEW HIRES. OVERSIGHT OF THE IPM (INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT PROGRAM), RECORD KEEPING AND FILE MAINTENANCE RELATING TO DOT COMPLIANCE.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Be part of the most progressive greenspace stewardship team in the industry! *
Work as a tree doctor that makes house calls! *
Aid and assist sales team with field estimates *
Schedule and route plant health care technicians and crews *
Develop and update annual plant health care programs *
Create and build relationships and expectations with clients *
Conduct and participate in employee training *
Assist with DOT Compliance
SKILLS WE'RE SEEKING:
Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist ®, ISA Certified Tree Worker ®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional ®, TRAQ *
Required: Valid driver's license *
Preferred: CDL B with Airbrake endorsement or A *
Regional plant and horticulture knowledge *
Good people skills; self-motivated; computer proficient and organized *
Must be knowledgeable and experienced with tree care, hazard tree evaluation, integrated pest management and industry approved tree care practices *
Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law *
Preferred: Related Two or Four-year degree *
Mechanical: Truck and small engine repair skills, valuable but not required (where applicable)
